Parent-teacher communication is a significant factor that also contributes to student success. As a result, I plan to communicate effectively with parents in order to encourage involvement. Here are a few examples of how I will incorporate parent-teacher communication within my classroom. My examples include:
"Meet the Teacher" Letter
Classroom Newsletter
Home Learning "Zip Kit"
Meet the Teacher

Home Learning "Zip Kit" A "Zip Kit" is an engaging and durable learning activity that is placed in a 1-2 gallon Ziploc bag. This activity is designed to be sent home with students as a homework activity for reinforcement of a skill already learned in the classroom. "Zip Kits" are an excellent way to involve parents in their child's learning at home!
